Project: Hansen Museum

Hansen Museum

Dane G. Hansen Foundation

Museum EXP created the interpretive plan and served as the primary researcher and exhibition writer for the Dane G. Hansen Museum renovation located in Logan, KS. Building on the Hansen Museum’s commitment to bringing arts and culture to Logan, Museum EXP pulled in stories of Western Kansas innovators and entrepreneurs who contributed to this mission—namely Dane G. Hansen. In celebration of the organization’s 50th anniversary, this museum embarked on a small-scale renovation of all public and private spaces. The exhibition was charged with layering this rich history of the Hansen family in only 2,500 sq. ft. The Museum EXP team employed a mix of digital interactives and layered artifacts, allowing visitors to explore stories that align with their individual interests.
