Museum EXP Opens New Exhibition at Glazer Children’s Museum
Museum EXP was proud to lead the development of a new children’s hospital exhibition at the Glazer Children’s Museum. The project is a collaboration between the museum and BayCare Health System’s St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. In this experience, children learn about the different jobs of hospital workers and what’s goes on inside the hospital. They are accompanied by the un-scary UnMonsters™ as they explore what it’s like to be a patient and how hospital staff help to care for all of the children at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Museum visitors can pretend play as a hospital worker as they answer phones, drive an ambulance, run a CT scan, or even wear a white lab coat to conduct a medical exam on one of the UnMonsters™.
For this project, Museum EXP served as creative director, project manager, content developer, and A/V integrator. We are proud to work with BayCare Health System and Glazer Children’s Museum on this highly interactive and high-tech exhibition.

“This exhibit is a fun and interactive way of furthering our mission to provide everything needed for the health and well-being of the children in our community,” said Sarah Naumowich, president of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. “We can’t wait for visitors to the Glazer Children’s Museum to meet our UnMonsters: Tizzy, Ooz, Jitters and Fretta. From educating families on wellness and safety during community events to being a friendly face at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, our UnMonsters help children understand that hospitals aren’t so scary after all.”
