ASTC Traveling Exhibit Report
Just released! Our latest Traveling Exhibit Report gives an overview of traveling exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Canada. The report shows that 21% of ASTC member museums are currently hosting traveling exhibitions—slightly higher than 20% in our 2023 report.

As a part of the TREX Traveling Exhibition Forum at the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting, we held the 2024 TREX Traveling Exhibition Awards. These awards are peer-nominated and peer-awarded—culminating in a wonderful reflection of the trends, innovation, experiences, and meaningful topics presented across a wide array of museums and organizations. Now FREE to Search! The TREX Traveling Exhibits Database
We’ve made some big changes to the TREX website and Traveling Exhibits Database. Users can search for traveling exhibits, exhibit services, and exhibits for sale! More exhibits are being added to the site each week with more than 30 new listings added in the past month alone!
TREX is a hub for traveling exhibition professionals that is powered by Museum EXP. The site, traveling-exhibits.com, hosts a searchable database of traveling exhibitions connecting museum host venues and exhibition providers. Museum EXP actively supports our community by organizing professional networking events like the New Traveling Exhibitions Forum and by compiling traveling exhibition research, trends, and reports.
